BOARD CERTIFIED SURGEON

Chevy Chase, MD Surgeon

Born in the picturesque island of Jamaica, our hair transplant surgeon began his educational journey at Campion College, the country’s premier Catholic high school, graduating with distinction. He then pursued higher education at Johns Hopkins University, majoring in Natural Sciences with a minor in Biophysics. In 1989, he gained acceptance to Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons, where he earned his medical degree. Driven by a passion for blending art and science, he sought a residency in Surgery, specializing in Hair Restoration to fulfill his aspirations. Following an internship at Columbia Presbyterian in New York, he continued his training in General Surgery at Howard University in Washington DC.

After completing five intensive years of general surgery training, he pursued further specialization at the University of Miami, where he graduated in 2002. Subsequently, he was selected as the third Jerome Webster Fellow in Surgery by Interplast Inc., a philanthropic organization headquartered in Mountain View, California. This prestigious fellowship afforded him the opportunity to travel to nine countries across South America and the Far East within a year, which he considers the pinnacle of his academic journey.

His interests are diverse, encompassing foreign languages such as Spanish, French, and Portuguese, in which he is conversant. He also finds joy in art, various genres of music, and sports, particularly tennis and soccer. Married with three children, he prides himself on his open-mindedness, compassion, and generosity, striving to provide the best possible care for each and every patient.
